About the Bank

INVESTBANK celebrated 20 years of business in 2009. The bank was registered on June 7,1989 (Bank of Russia General License #107) and is one of the oldest financial institutions in the country. The year 2008, was marked by an important event in the bank’s history that represents a transition to a fundamental new phase of development. Three lending organizations joined the company: Moscow-based Conversbank, Yekaterinburg-based Grankombank and Voronezh-based Voronezhprombank.

As was planned, the united economic potential of the four banks—each of which was already a recognized leader in its respective region and sector of the financial market—has many times over surpassed expectations and multiplied possibilities.

Today INVESTBANK is a large, universal bank on a federal scale that serves more than 20 000 companies and organizations and more than 200 000 individual clients in 84 cities and towns throughout the Russian Federation. The bank is regularly amongst the top 100 Russian banks based on all primary financial and economic indicators related to its activities and has high lending ratings issued by leading rating agencies.

In 2009, for the first time, INVESTBANK won the most prestigious National Business Award awarded by the Russian business community, 2009 Company of the Year, with a special nomination for Most Dynamically Developing Company. In addition, INVESTBANK was designated Best Regional Bank (Northwest Federal District) for its banking activities for the fourth time in as many years and was named a Diamond Star, the highest level of the award. The bank also has received Silver, Gold and Platinum banking awards. In 2009, INVESTBANK was honored with the Twenty Years of Success banking medal (Registration #1).
